Performing Arts Trip: Norfolk and Virginia Beach April 16th-19th
Registration Information
To sign your student(s) up for the trip you must complete 3 things for each student:
Register with the Choice Travel and pay the deposit.
Complete the Medical Form (including a photo of your medical insurance card front and back).
Complete the Information Collection Form.
Until all 3 of these things are completed, your student is not fully registered.
The total trip cost for a student in a quad room is $1,098 and is all inclusive. Final cost will be adjusted based on occupancy numbers and stipend payments from fundraising.
Optional Travel insurance will be available once you have booked the trip.
NOTE: If you have expressed interest in volunteering as a chaperone for this trip, please DO NOT register yet. Final decisions regarding chaperones have not been made. You will be contacted by the Travel Chair, Mandy Thomas, once selections are finalized.

Student Contributions
The Choral Boosters is finalizing the budget and costs for our upcoming trip. As part of this, we’re determining how much each student will receive as a stipend toward the trip cost.
Who gets a stipend?
All choral students who are members of the Choral Boosters and going on the trip are eligible. These stipends are made possible through fundraising by the Choral Boosters and our families.
Do I have to fundraise?
We expect all families who receive a stipend to support our fundraising efforts (sales and volunteering). However, if you'd prefer not to participate in fundraising, you can opt out of receiving the stipend by paying the full trip cost when you first register.
You may voluntarily opt out of the stipend.
If you want to opt out of the stipend for the Virginia Beach trip and donate your amount to others, please email Mandy Thomas at mandythomas1975@gmail.com by Friday, November 1 to help us finalize counts.
Important Notes:
The final stipend amount will be shared before the last trip payment is due and will be applied directly to student accounts with Choice Music Tours, not as a cash refund.
If you choose to pay the full trip amount upfront instead of using the 3-installment plan, your student will automatically be opted out of the stipend.
Students with remaining funds in their legacy Booster personal accounts will be notified separately. Those funds must be used by the time the student graduates.
Financial Support
Please know that financial support is available. Please contact Ms. Surguine. They will work with the school district and the Choral Boosters to help families pay for the trip.
Deadlines
October 15th - Final Date to Register and make first payment. Please complete all 3 forms (payment, medical, and information.)
November 14th - Second payment due ($366)
January 14th - Final payment due (amount TBD, pending Choral Boosters travel stipend)
April 16-19 - Virginia Beach!
